a little Uneasy about period

My period was a week and a half late, i took a test it was neg. I was better with that thinking it was just stress or the what not. so i finally got my "period" the first 2 days it was a dark brown/burnt red and spotty for both days not enough to fill a panty liner. the 2 days later there was not bleeding, i had sex with my husband and when we where done i went to the bathroom, and i was bleeding, a light but bright pink, i thought it was my period, it lasted only a few hours and that as well was very spotty. was this my period? or could this have been implantation bleeding? if it was not my period i would be going on 3 weeks late
