Ok, Im 18 and Everytime my boyfriend and I have intercourse i experience harsh abdominal pain on the right side. It feels like someone stabbing me with a sharpe object, it doesn't happen everytime just in certain positions, he thinks it's because im tiny, but i feel like something else is wrong. Also if i sneeze or cough, i experience that same pain, can you help me? -Jamie

I experience the same exact thing, however I am almost 43 and have had 3 children. I carry very big babies and it seems after each one, I get a hernia. It sounds just like you describe - very sharp, stabbing paid. I was having this pain suddenly when I was shopping with my boys and they were ready to call emergency it was so painful - like a knife stabbing me. I have know that I have the hernia and it becomes worse after sex; even if the sex is "mild". It is starting to get in the way. Anyway, you should have your primary doctor check it out. Hernia repairs are pretty easy to recover from; I am just trying to wait because my youngest is only 1 year old and I have to be picking him up. Good luck to you.
