otherwise, depending on where you are in your cycle, cramping and breast tenderness are also signs that you are ovulating, which happens in the middle of your cycle (between periods),
if you had sex on new years eve, and are due on at the end of this month, am I right in estimating you had sex on/within a couple of days of your period? do you know your menstrual cycle length and which day of that cycle you had sex? (day 1 = the first day of your period)
of course, you can never determine pregnancy with symptoms alone, the only way you will know is if your period arrives and take a test then.
