google amino acid protocol, start taking two weeks before you stop your opiate, try to tapper down in those two weeks. mix with all other suggestions you can find, DONT start on any other prescriptions cause then you will be dealing with that also(XANAX< VALUM<ETC..). promise you!!! BEEN THERE DONE THAT,makes this 10 times as hard. i have cold turkeyed twice and it was hell, i am a happy dude and i was thinking about suicide. There is a book that contains a quiz you should take to tell you exactly what amino's to take,think it is called "end my addiction now" but not totally nesesary, there is a good list on a website when you google ammino acid protocol, tyrosine for energy etc.... read everything you can on the protocol, been using it for years AWESOME!!! the longer you take aminos the longer you will stay sober. i buy mine seperately from walmart, dollar store, gnc,etc.. exercise, excercise, excercise, your body is beat, mostly your brain and its receptors, from what i understand you have two receptors that pass endorphins to each other, the one that produces happy juice has shut down and stopped working cause you have been dumping all the good stuff from the pills so it doesnt have to work, the receptor that receives the good stuff starts craving more good stuff more of the time and starts telling your brain"give it to me"and it starts your body into WD . So how i think of it is, you have to out think that receptor and start restoring it before you quit using. i have tried EVERTHING and i can withdrawl with very very very little withdrawl. I am prescribed opana and take oc or whatever i can get so i dont get sick,when i use i use really hard and alot bout a $300 dollar a day habit, you do the math. when i get tired of the chase i start planning, start my amino's, start excercising and start tapering(AT LEAST TWO WEEKS B4 but should be more). my last day of pills i will take a piece of suboxone maybe 1/4 or whatever it takes not to get sick, suboxone for no more than 2-3 days or you will get hooked on it.take the BARE MINIMUM of sub as possible.if i take a sub to soon it throws me into horrible WD very violiant but just remember that doesnt last long maybe 2-3 hours, just be somewhere you can lay down, its better than 3 weeks of WD, immodium for stomach and diarehha, any other suggestions you can find DO IT there are a ton of things i also do, everytime is a lil differ so read and find out what else you can try for other symptoms, read it, write it down, then plan your attack, i have been back and forth with this and have tried everything, main things are ammino, excercise, sub, taper, and some test 250(testosterone enthanate)1 cc 2-3 times a week, its an injectable,read up on it b4 you start, im not recomending this for anyone but it saves me, i start it when i start my aminos and excercise, it can probably be even worse but i can do it for 2 months and walk away from it, it helps me through the hard times then im done with it. if you try this, try starting it as early as possible atleast a month, like i said i have very very little WD. eventually i will walk away from it totally, even when i beat the withdrawls, i go back! i recomend TUFFING it out the old fashion way so maybe you will learn your lesson!hahahah
so 1) amino acid protocol, test 250 and lots of excercise
2) start tapering
3)all suggestion ex. immodium for diarheia, anihestamines for restlessness, whatever you can find for home remedies
4) suboxone for after the last day of using, but not to soon and not more than 2-3 days
