I noticed while I was taking care of myself to get rid of my anal fissure (fancy word for anal rip, which healed) that I have a bumpy pimple like thing on the rim of my anal. I also noticed it because it bleed a little, but stop after I went without having a bowel for a few days. I just want to know what it is and if it is harmful.

Sounds like an external hemorrhoid. Not dangerous just a pain in the, uh, well you know what I mean. Unless it becomes significantly enlarged or bleeds excessively, it should resolve itself in a week or less. Use a hemorrhoidal cream or wipes to speed healing.

It was a internal hemorroid. I saw my doctor and she said it was healing. I have been using preperarion h and tucks pads. It is all good now. Thanks for the help
