Hey guys I'm glad I have found you! I'm a young gay versatile but mostly bottom. Actually I had my first time like two weeks ago so I consider myself versatile but I have always wanted to be bottom. He is like 8 years older than me. When he penetrated me I felt a huge pain at the right side of my anus. I told him to stop and I was lucky because we haven't had enough time to do it as we should do it and as we were nervous about time, a few minutes later he was cumming on my leg...Anyways, I went to the doctor, no sexually transmitted diseases were found, just an external hemorrhoid at the place I felt the huge pain. So I went to a doctor, he told me I have that hemorrhoid and cryptitis (this last one is something I probably had before having sex because I was going to one doctor and another to solve something that was bothering me there). This last doctor which seems to be professional and recognized by other doctors told me if cryptitis continues bothering me, he would have to do a surgery and at the same time he could solve the external hemorrhoid, I think removing it. Apparently on the inside I have a thrombosis. I'm taking pills and avoiding rice and red meat. I have an appointment with him in two days. So I would appreciate if you can give advices about which procedure is the best and less painful. You probably understand I want to be happy and have a normal life, that includes sex and not having underpants soiling, I'm worry about it. Please tell me your experiences with it and if you can be bottoming :)

Thank you so much! And sorry for writing so much!

I had my second operation in five months. The first one removed one external pile with one of the "new methods". Two weeks later another pile came out and two days ago I got operated again with traditional surgery. I removed three internal piles and one external pile. I slept one night in the hospital to control the pain (worst night of my life) and now I am back home. Had my first bm today which was very painful ... to make it easier had oats with yoghourt and honey last night and a shake with a tsp of vaseline this morning. 48 hours later I feel the pain is getting better. Was told no gym for two weeks and no anal sex for 4 weeks. The pain is horrible, but if (and apparently it's an if) I got rid of this problem with this surgery, then it's worth the hassle. Frankly if it's bothering you ... yes, it's painful, but you'll survive. As for anal sex ... I'll find out in a few weeks. I have a feeling I may top more from now on ;)

Hey! Thanks for answering mousse100. I sent you a private message. I'm nervous about it. As I said, that was my first time and right now I'm afraid I could not have a normal and happy sexual life. My second visit visit with this doctor is on next friday. So doctor is going to evaluate me and see what is really going on there...I want to be versatile, and mostly bottom. I wish this could be a nightmare and soonly I would wake up ;)

Day 5 after the operation. The pain is still there, but you learn to manage it. Your day revolves around your BM. If you resist it, it becomes more painful so I decided to deal with it and get it out as soon as I get the feeling. I have always been very regular (mornings) and know when this will happen. This is what works for me: As soon as I wake up I have the pain killer that the doctor prescribed (you should probably eat something before, but I don't as it takes an hour to work on me), followed by my main meal of the day (breakfast). I normally drink lots of water, have proteins (digest slower and stays longer in my body) and Oat to may the BM easier. 15-30 minutes later I hit my first BM. I need warm water in the area to make it easier (a bucket, a shower head ... whatever stream of warm water I can get). Painful during and 10 minutes later. Unfortunately 20-30 minutes later I get the urge and do the second BM. Same procedure. After each BM I use a spray of cold for a few minutes to numb and clean the area followed by a cold blow dryer to make it is dry (moist extends the healing process). I skip lunch and have an appetite suppressant to avoid food and further pain and just have a dinner of mainly proteins. Before sleep I have half of tea spoon of vaseline to make the BM the next day more easy (my doctor said it's ok). I always start feeling a bit of pain after I eat anything (I suspect it's gas in the stomach that puts pressure on the new wound). As I said you learn to manage it and every day is a bit better.

Day 9 post operation and I still have some pain, but a lot more bearable.  The pain is mainly when I have BM, but as I said it is a lot more bearable.

With yesterday's BM. one of the I assume 3 internal stitches (had 3 internal haemorrhoids) fell off; I have noticably lower pain since then.  I suspect the other two will fall off soon.

Guys.  Yes the pain is horrible, but if you have to do the operation, you'll survive.  I just hope I never have to go through this again.

On reflection, I think what caused me the haemorrhoids in the first place is very strong douches that lasted typically an hour to make sure that I am 100% clean.

In summary. Yes, the pain is bad, but it's worth it provided the piles are gone for good.  The other added benefit is that if you want to lose weight, you will as you will look at food in a new way!

Hope all this is helping you.

Thank you mousse100! Your experience is giving me hope :)

I have sent you a private message because I have certain doubts about medicines and procedures...I would appreciate if you check it out and you give me an answer.

Thank you again! Hope you are getting well soon and please keep telling us about your evolution...If you have complications such as stenosis (when your anus tights so much that you can't even put a little finger there) or incontinence (your underwear gets dirty with poop several times a day and you can't control it)

Blessings!

I am 3 weeks post op a hemorrhoidectomy of one whole side of my anus. I would recommend it if it is impacting your life. If solely for "cosmetic purposes", I'm pretty sure that you will have some scaring. So I guess this depends on if you are thinking about people not seeing a hemorrhoid verses a porn camera with good lighting getting up close. If it's for the camera, and possibly for private intertainment, you might be disappointed. For me, there was a big difference after the two week mark. I strongly recommend that you start taking miralax 2 to 5 days before surgery two to three times a day. Anastasia and pain pills of any kind constipate, and believe me, please believe me, it does more harm than good. Save those pills for a rainy day after you've recovered. As far as anal sex, I'm not sure. I know that 3 weeks out, I'm nowhere near being capable of it. I'm hoping that I'll be able to somewhere between 3 to 6 months out. I actually got on here looking for the answer myself. I do know that healing from surgeries in general tend to be negatively exponential. Meaning, you might be half way recovered 2 weeks out, but every percent of recovery takes longer than the last. That's any surgery. I don't want to scare you, but I will say it's not a surgery to be taken lightly. There were many evenings I was in the bathroom 7 hours or more screaming in pain. The thing to keep in mind with that is that I was not on miralax then, AND, if you're getting a hemorrhoidectomy (blood vessels completely removed) then what is 50 to 70 really bad hours of your life, and otherwise manageable discomfort and no sex for 3 months if you are guaranteed to never have a hemorrhoid in that spot ever again? I personally feel lucky that this time in particular, the whole right side was massively swollen (which is the side that was always giving me problems).

I had a haemarhoidectomy a couple of years ago after having piles that eventually got worse and worse. Mine were a bad case in the end and I had to have the surgery because they were bleeding freely and I was fast becoming anaemic Docs told me healing is usually a couple of days but (and this is no exaggeration and I tjink my pain tolerance is pretty good) but I was in absolute agony for over a mnth. After the initial hospital painkillers wore off I was constantly in agony and that was made 10x worse by the random muscle spasms. A b.m was complete trauma! COMPLETE TRAUMA!!! U HAVE to keep stools soft etc. Anyway...im a gay man and RE: anal sex....I can still do it but it is tighter than it was (possibly because of scar tissue). I didnt even try it for MONTHS after my surgery cos the pain from the op was so severe but its been fine on the whole. My advice wud b.....do NOT delay in getting something done when u know u have piles. U dnt want them to become as bad as mine. Tey the crrams etc first and if they dnt work ull mpre than likely have banding first. Banding for me was a walk in the park but unfortunately they only fixed the smaller ones.

A doctor told me that I will be tighter due to scar tissue. However, he recomended that at 6 weeks post op, I should start using anal plugs so that the scar tissue will form more stretched out than it would otherwise. I got a kit that has 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, and 2 inches in diameter. At 4 weeks (a bit earlier than recomended) I tried the 1" for the evening. It was uncomfortable to say the least, but not unbareable. I think this is going to work out actually. Yes, it will be a bit painful, but to get more tissue to form a slightly larger hole is going to prove beneficial for the rest of my life. I am nearly 5 weeks post op now, and I fully intend to use the 1" starting next week every evening for a week or two before moving to the next stage.

Hello, I had a horrible case of hemorrhiods. Why? Beacuse I get really hypersexual and I was actually sticking everything in my anus other than a safe dildo or a real penis. Yeah, I was stupid, I was lucky I did not puncture my intestine, and, after I finally bought a dildo, I new I ahd to stop or have an affair on my wife with a real man. Anyhow, I eventually had a surgery that the surgeon said was one of the most extensive he has ever done in more than 20 years---yeah, I am REALLY hyperseual. Anyhow, he almost had to use the scalpel becaue they were so big. If that would have been the case, the pain would have been much worse he said. Much worse? The pain that I hd endurred was the worse pain I have ever had. Afterwards, it was great to have a healthy anus. I told the surgon of my hypersexual experienece and eventual use of a very large and long dildo, and he actually performed a technique on my anus to allow easier insertion, which means my anus has been designed for anal sex now. Still, I have refrained. I am planning to start again, I am looking for a partner on dating sites, and I am buying a nice dildo that is not huge--just honest. I am afraid that I will get hemorrhoids again though. :( Still, I am not sticking anything in my anus except for dildos less than 2 inches in diameter or a real man's penis after I find one.

I've undergone hemorrhoidectomy and it took a month before it totally healed. It is painful after the operation especially when you have to poop. After the healing process, my pooping becomes normal again thought the poop is just like the size of my index finger.

I had to have three different surgeries through out the year.  When I tell you it is very painful so get ready.  It took me a month to bounce back and feel normal from each and every one.  The last one was to remove scar tissue cause I still could not have anal sex, it has only been a month and I haven't tried yet.

How long did it take you to start anal again? They actuallly went in to remove scar tissue about a month ago, and I'm not sure when to start using butt plugs to loosen it up at all.

I just had the surgery 6 days ago and while it has not been easy it is not nearly as bad as I expected. My advice: stay ahead of the pain. Lots of pain meds on a regular schedule along with plenty of stool softness. I literally set an alarm schedule on my phone for every three hours for the first three days. In addition, I adhered to a liquid diet for the week prior to limit the contents of my stomach. Day five was the worst but today is much better and I'm glad to have it all behind me (no pun intended:)
