Hello everyone!

So I'm a female who had hemorrhoids and was left with an unsightly anal tag afterward. Too much sitting down on the toilet trying to pass out a constipation poop for hours at a time. Not recommended! Lol

Anyway, I didn't have any medical problems but it sure didn't look pretty down there anymore. Sometimes tried to stick the little tag back in but it was too outside.

I was really really worried about the recovery and if it'd even look better afterward. I've tried having it removed once before and absolutely nothing looked like it had changed. I don't think they knew I wanted it to look cosmetically better and just was like "you ain't got the roids!".

Years later, I went to a doctor that specialized in the butt stuff and was numbed in the butt, fully awake, they were lasering it off and I could smell burning lol the banding wasn't an option for me cuz it was too outside and the tag would return. Laser was more expensive but worth it in my opinion. It's always the doctor that is the most important no matter what operation!

So I get it done and it Stung. Hurt! I had a light saber to my Butt! The sting of the numbing needle also kina hurt. I bled the most for 4 days or so. Had to frequently change my bloody gauze. After that, just some spotting. It wasn't in tooooo much pain cuz I only had to remove 1. I heard that the more you remove, the longer the recovery and the more pain. Also, they should prescribe you some pain killers. I got some really good ones. Barely noticed the pain unless I missed my medicine.

Needle Pain: 4/10 and for about 2 seconds
Laser Pain: 7.5/10 on and off for 10 seconds. I told them when it was too much pain and they shot me with more numbing stuff.
Recovery Pain: a dull 2/10

Remember! Every person's experience is different! I'm glad I did mine :D

See a colorectal specialist surgeon do not just go to a surgeon who happens to do hemorrhoidectomy. I had one done in March and I was in severe pain even taking Vicodin several times a day bowel movements were pure hell I couldn't even imagine anal sex. I had to go back and have it done again two months later and it still hurt like hell so I went to a colorectal specialist surgeon and next Tuesday he is going to do the rubber band ligation. The other surgeon really messed me up and I'm still paying on the damn bill. and his office was horrible about returning phone calls and referred me to a doctor and said they didn't have his and referred me to a doctor and said they didn't have his address or phone number but that they would call me. They never did. He absolutely tore me up and I'm still bleeding since March and it is now November 1st. I wasn't offered the rubber band ligation first because he didn't even have the ability to do that. I asked for a colorectal specialist surgeon and they told me he was but he just happened to do hemorrhoidectomy procedures. I would never ever ever do this with a general surgeon again and I would definitely try the rubber band ligation first before ever having a hemorrhoidectomy. this pain was so much worse than childbirth I would rather pop out 20 babies

I had internal hemorrhoids for over 10 years. It started with major bleeding when I was 20. But there was no other major issues other than a little umcomfor after MBs for 3 years, then this happened. I was travelling in Nepal and had some spicy food one day it just came out with a diarrhea, I couldn't believe I beared the pain, which I think it was 10/10, the whole trip and I finally went back to normal after two months. After this, I really need to lay down for half an hour after MBs, and sometimes I just couldn't sit or stand for more than one hour. I had been having anal sex from time to time in the past 8 years, probably less than 10 times a year, and for the most of them, it was fine. But it turned really bad six months ago, one guy just screwed me really hard and I noticed it's getting worse and worse, even worse than the days in Nepal. So I had the surgery done 5 weeks ago.

Overall, the surgery went really good, mostly because my friend works in that hospital and he picked the best surgeon in this field, and he has done hundreds of this surgery in the past ten years. I didn't feel much pain except the 2nd day I had a BM, but that was not much worse than I had the worst anal sex a few months ago. I think it also helped that I took Advil every 8 hours for the first five days after the surgery. The first two weeks it was really hard to tell if it was gas or stool, and acutally I accidentally pooped in the shower for a few times. And 5 weeks has gone I feel great! I used to spend 15 minutes in the restroom and now it only takes 2 minutes.

But the only thing I concer right now is that, I had PPH instead of non-stapling, which means I had titanium staples in my ass that may hurt someone's penis. I didn't even think about this before I had the surgery, mostly becaue I forgot to tell my surgeon that I'm gay and I may have to have anal sex in the future. Now I am nervous. Hope someone may have the answer for me.

Banding is not a hemorrhoidectomy. External hemorrhoids (They look like skin tags) cannot be removed with banding and must be surgically removed with either a scalpel or laser. Banding is less painful.

Go for the band procedure! actual surgery is at best a 9/10 pain-wise and takes literal months to heal and you will have a 'leaky' feeling beyond that. I had it done and wish I would have looked in to any other option first.

I agree. I had this done in jan 2018 and even now (mid March 2018) I am still in pain. Not every day or even all day, but passing stools is painful (sometimes) it’s a big operation as you have to eat to live - and then poop. But, I am glad I had it done. It’s not a nice process but it does get better xxx

The pain was unimaginable. I’m a 25 year old and I cried almost everyday from the pain. I was in pain for over month. Cosmetically I’m glad I did it, but I still feel pain after sex. It’s been 4 months

Is anal sex possible after hemorrhoid surgery? How long will it take or a certain duration to have sex after the surgery?

I had a hemorrhoid surgery over a year ago and anal sex has never been the same. Every time I have receptive sex I’m in excruciating pain. I’ve tried different anal lubes and butt plugs to practice with, at no avail. I seen multiple surgeons whom have ordered different tests, all of which have come back normal - nothing pathologically wrong with me. I would never recommend a bottom gay man to get this surgery.

You blame cough and lifting, not Fisting your Anus? Really. Biology suggests your Anus is an Exit not big enough force Fists. Of course you cause yourself pain.
