I have some of the same side effects,I've only been on Yaz for 3 weeks and every since I started taking,I've felt pregnant! My breast are tender,I'm having migrains everyday,my face is starting to break out and I wake up so thirsty. I'm not sure that I like this Yaz. I use to take LoEstrin Fe and it worked ok,I use to have breakthrough bleeding though. I don't have that with Yaz.That is the only good thing about it!

I have only been taking Yaz for 3 weeks and every since I started taking it I get headaches, and my breast are tender. I've been pregnant twice so I know the symptoms and I totally feel pregnant every since I started taking Yaz! I'm not sure I like it. It does help me though with my PMDD!

This is the first time I have taken birth control, and I am taking it not as a contraceptive device but as a way to treat PMDD. However, since starting Yaz one week ago, I have felt the same depression and suicidal feelings that typically accompany my period. I started taking Yaz, as prescribed, on the first Sunday after my period started. The week that I have been on Yaz - my immediate post-period week - is usually one in which I feel fine. However, like I said, I am feeling severely depressed. I do not want to panic and quit Yaz prematurely if it can help, but I do not want to prolong these feelings if they are not going to abate. Has anyone had this experience, and if so, is this my body adjusting or should I stop taking the pills now? Thanks in advance.

I have been on Yaz for 3 weeks and I can not sleep enough. I feel like im in a comma. I cant do school work ,I cant wake up for work and all I want to do is sleep! Also I am extremely irritable and have been snapping at loved ones. My face is clearer than ever and I have lost my appetite, two things that are a plus! Im giving it another month and if the bad symptoms dont go away ...I will immediatly stop this "makes you feel pregnant" medicine.

Well I hope I don't get any of these symptoms. I have been on Yaz for a month and proir to Yaz I hadnt been on any birth control for 4 years. I was diagnosed with PMDD last month due to the fact that I was a ragging b**** to the one I loves most. I was a nightmare. I would have outburst, crying spells, irrability, cramps, major back pains, wieght gain.....everything under the sun. And it was bad people!!!! Every single month for as long as I can remember I have had severe PMS. I have not had any symptoms of PMS since Ive been on Yaz. And I am so thankful. I hope it continues to work for me. I havent had any side effects besides being totally happy!!!!!!! Oh occasionally around 5PM I will get dizzy and feel a bit nausea but as soon as I eat it goes away. YAZ ALL THE WAY women who suffer PMDD.

Oh my goodness, Im so glad I read your post. I have only been on Yaz for a short while but ever since I have started I have felt pregnant. My poor boyfriend, I have told him everyday since I have been taking at it that I feel pregnant and want to take a test.
I was wondering this though.....do you eat like you are pregnant too? I have noticed my appetite has skyrocketed since I have been taking this. I literelly eat a cup of pickles a day! And I am NOT pregnant so this is so weird for me.
Can't wait to stop taking this pill.

I started Yaz about three months ago. The first month was horrid. I had wicked mood swings. I would go from rage, annoyance, crying and manic at the drop of a hat. After I finished my first month, the mood swings ended but my breasts hurt and are swollen. I have gained a full cup size and have maintained it for all of the second and third month with no sign of any reduction (not such a terrible thing in my opinion ). I stopped cramping before my periods and the duration of my periods went to half the length (another great thing). I have night sweats every night since about one week into taking Yaz and I also have weird, emotional and terrifying nightmares every night which I never really suffered from before. I can not say that all of these symptoms are from taking Yaz but they are symptoms I never had on a regular basis (or ever) until I started taking it so I can only assume that Yaz has something to do with it. I have reciently become rather tired throughout the day even though I get a full nights rest, again I am unsure if the Yaz has anything to do with that or not.

It's my third day on Yaz and I have an upset stomach and diarrhea. I am hoping that it is a stomach virus. Anyone have similar side effects?

I've also had the same type of side effects. I get really bad headaches, extreme tiredness, diarrhea, anxious at the end of the 3rd week. I spot for about 1 1/2 weeks every month. I was told it would help with the emotional symptoms, but I think they are worst.
I've been taking them for 4 months and have been switched to Seasonique. I haven't started them yet, but I'm hoping they help!

I've been on Yaz for about 2 months. My acne has cleared up significantly and I don't get that many outbreaks anymore. However, I have had diarrhea and stomach cramps in the mornings, almost every other day for the last 5 weeks. I can only assume it's the YAZ b/c I haven't changed my diet or medications other than Yaz.
It's sort of a pain in the butt to deal with, but my stomach usually settles down after the morning.

I have taken Yaz birth control before and i cant remember why i stopped taking them. Until now! My Dr. gave me a sample pack to take while i wait for my Mirana to come in. I have been taking them for a week now and everytime i take them, it get really bad cramps in my lower abdomen, it kinda feels like im going to start my period. I dont know if i should just stop taking them and just wait for my IUD?? Or should i take them just to be safe.

I started taking Yaz approx. 4 months ago. I began to notice within the first week that I was having trouble "balancing" emotions. One minute sad, next minute angry... that sort of thing. But around the 3rd week I experienced a very scary fainting spell while driving down the road. I was actually forced to call my mother to drive me from a friend's house. since then I have had blurred vision, odd speech problems (slurred words, and studdering), sore breast and neck, fatigue, loss of appetite, and extremely loose stools (excuse the vulgarity). I decided to continue taking the drug, simply because the pamphlet concerning side effects, etc. says that all side effects should subside. Some side effects seem to be getting better, Should I talk to my doctor anyway??
