Can you help me with my problem? My mother is 67 years old and she has this weird idea about using hypnotherapy for arthritis. She heard from a friend that it might help her; she might even leave her meds. So, is there anyone here who used this kid of treatment?

You should not be so suspicious about that treatment. Actually, it can be very effective, if applied properly. And as far as I know, you don’t need any specialist for that, she can do it on her own, but I assume that she should have some sort of help until she learns to perform it effectively.
