Hi, I would like to learn about some alternative methods for dealing with stress. I have heard that hypnotherapy might help with relieving and it sounds like an interesting and effective method. I think that stress is a part of our sub consciousness and should be dealt with accordingly. I just hope I won’t have to take any meds for this.

Even though it is a part of our mind that is not easily reachable, it is something that must be treated, if pathology occurs. As for the stress, it is something that differs from person to person, and therefore the treatment is always different too. This means that you are free to use any means you think might help you, including hypnotherapy. As you have said it is our psyche we are talking about here and medications are not always necessary.
