Two years ago I was diagnosed with ADD. I was having a lot of trouble with concentrating and understanding things, my doctor prescribed me with adderall. I experienced side effects such as losing weight, insomnia…and I believe I became addictive on it. Does anyone have such experienced? Are ADD drugs addictive?

Yes, I believe that they are addictive. I’ve been on adderall off and on for about 2 years. it is very addictive and does have side effects including decreased appetite, trouble sleeping…but it does help me with organizing thoughts and getting rid of the fog in your head. To me it is worth it. I my symptoms were severe.
