I woke up last night thinking I was actually about to die. There was a fire in the bottom of my throat. I had taken my doxy pill with one sip of water and then I went straight to sleep. I was very nauseated and had that "pill stuck in throat" feeling. It was AWFUL. I ate a couple of crackers and some cold applesauce and that helped a very very small amount. Afterwards I just went and sat upright in my bed miserably, trying to sleep. When I woke up, I tried some pop tarts and each swallow was very painful, but as the day went on, lunch from chick fil a felt much better. Hopefully the pain will stay away now, even though it's only the second day and I still have that awkward pill stuck feeling in my upper chest. My nursing professors said that's what happens taking acidic pills inappropriately, and that throat ulcers can happen sometimes. I learned my lesson.
