I live in the United States. My son was born on 1-29-08. The doctor circumsized him the day after he was born. I didn't give it much thought, but it appears that the doctor missed a little of the skin on the bottom of the penis, the circusision itself is pretty loose, but there is one part that has a pretty big piece of skin still on it. I thought it might be for when he grows up and the penis gets bigger, but his pedi said that it could get caught in his zipper when he's potty training. SO I'm off to the doctor to find out what to do about it. I think the easiest thing to do is to get it fixed now, so he doesn't have to deal with it when he's older. What does everyone else think??? Oh and I don't think my insurance will pay for 2 circumsisions on the same person...So shouldn't the doctor fix it for free??
