baby oil irritation...help

i masturbated with j&j baby oil and was unable to wash it off my penis for about 5 or 7 days, about 4 days after using it it began to burn as i pissed and a light red mark was on the tip of my penis. the burning lasted for about 10 days, even after i washed it, it continued for a little over wekk...the burning has since been gone, however the red rash seems to be fading away...but very slowly...its been 4 weeks after the burning went away and the red is still there but very minor. does this sound like a typical reaction to not washing baby oil off the penis for 5-7 days?
also, will triple anit-biotic ointment help heal the irritated mark?
please help...
