Hello ladies, I just had my surgery to have my bartholyn gland removed. I've been suffering from them since I was 18 and now I am 21. No other procedure worked on me. But luckily this is the last procedure I'll have to go through. My recovery is going really well. After reading everything I could on the internet about bartholyn glands. I got a little freaked out. But with the medication you should be fine. Don't get me wrong it hurts but it's manageable. But everyone has a different pain tolerance. When my doctor removed my gland he told my sister it was so twisted. So I'm just so happy it's over with. And any having to deal with those dam cyst. My best advice would be to remove them because I think having them when they get the size of a golf ball like I did was much more painful then the recovery. I wish every luck.

I have bartholyn cyst for almost 4 years now, initially doctors gave me antibiotics but it didn’t work and then I the due course I had 2 marsupilisations and 5 times Cather insertion but my doctor avoid doing a surgery and removing the gland. Can you please recommend a gynea you have been too and where did you get the surgery done?
I would really appreciate your guidance.
Many thanks
Charul
