I have come to the realization that I am one of the lucky women with very minimal menstrual bleeding... I generally have my period for about 2 full days, then some spotting and its over. It IS regular every month.
I have been considering going on the pill, or one of the pills, or looking at those options but as I understand it, you take the pill every day and you take the different ones that cause your period - generally a weeks worth correct? If I am not making sense, please call me out on it.
My overall worry is that if I go on birth control, it will more or less "regulate" my month so that I have to take a weeks worth of the initiating pills and my small, light period will become heavy and last an entire week. This may be a silly concern but after years of this menstrual cycle I don't exactly want to make it worse.
