I have been an avid birth control user for almost 3 years now, and I have never been so stupid before!!
Yesterday was the beginning of my "period" week. I don't take the white pills, so I usually wait until the following week, so I can begin a new pack. However, yesterday I completely forgot that it was my period week. I began a new pack when I wasn't supposed to! Luckily, I only messed up for ONE day.
My question is -- I am now short (1) pill when I have to really start it (which is next Monday). Do I start taking it on Tuesday and skip the pill thats missing? If I double up, i'll really screw myself up. Secondly, will I still get my period this week?
Thanks!

I replied to your other topic on this.
Skip the pill free week and start the new pack continuously from the old one (42 days of active pills), you won't have a withdrawal bleed, because you havent stopped taking the pill yet.
It is safe to skip a period, many women do it, its common practise. I would advise this rather than accidentally screwing your cycle up.
