I am a 30 year old male and I have been experiencing burning while urinating for some time now. The other day at work I went to the bathroom and noticed a black object in the toilet that had come out of my urine stream. The only way I could describe it is to say it looked like a balled up baby spider. Is that even possible??

I have been feeling better since that day when I urinate, but I want to a, know what the heck that was and b, make sure it isn't a sign of a STD.

Please help!
Thanks

Although i have never experienced this on my own (being 18 ) however, this sounds like it was a kidney stone. Especially after having passed the dark object you've felt better when urinating since then. Other than that, i can't think of anything else that would cause something like that.

A burning sensation is usually related to damage or a bacterial infection. But again, with the relief after passing the object... it doesn't look to fall into those two catagories as the pain would still be getting worse. :-)

I had the same thing happen to me while at work. I had pain while urinating and at work one day after 3 days of cleaning out my system that black substance came out of my urine. For me it was a little black pasty substance small as a grain of rice. I picked it up and it disolved like as if it was masquera.

Exactly. Looks like a air or a piece of charred wet charcoal that dissolves like lead dust

I'm not going to rewrite my post, but seems to be a 30yr old male issue.

Been doing a lot of research, symptomology, points toward bladder stone. However, these seem small, but size doesn't seem to be prevailing factor. It's bladder lining and urethral irritation, that cause the symptoms. The object(s) ejected may be singular in nature, one of many, or small part of larger stone. This seems to fit with the symptoms I've had and has been described by others.
