I went to a party last night that was very extravagent...and I ate a lot of different types of food I have not had before.

This morning, I noticed that the tip of my tongue was sore, and wondered what I did to it..i.e.bite it in my sleep? ate something that cut it?

Just now, I looked in a mirror and under my tongue it is very dark...practically black.

Since trying to search online only scared me to think it was some type of oral cancer, I am hopeful someone else might have some insight...Could it be n allergic reaction to seafood (mussels) or something else i ate last night?
