When I looked at the mirror I have noticed that this area has these small bumps covering it.
I have noticed this about three months ago but didn’t pay too much attention until, the other day; I have looked again and found out that this area is now bigger and that this wasn’t some
Any ideas? Anyway ever have this happen to them? I would appreciate any help anyone has to offer, thanks so much!

Well, when I read your post, first thing that was on my mind is herpes infection but now I'm sure this isn’t the cause because you have this condition for several months now and not big changes are visible.
It could be also an allergic reaction to some medications and you should check if you are allergic to any of them.
You probably don’t know but everybody has these big bumps on the back of their tongs called taste buds.
They are a lot bigger than your regular taste buds and they can't be seen easily. If I was in your place, I would contact my doctor over this. It is probably something trivial but I wouldn’t be peaceful until I get professional opinion. But then again, it is just me.
Good luck!
