Does anyone have the experience of sharp intense pain during and after urination? (The pain might last for a few hours sometimes after urination) This happens to me after I masturbated (sometimes even without ejaculation). Also, my pee seems to be split into two sometimes. Can it be semen blockage? I am also experiencing some form of bladder discomfort at times. Should I see a urologist to get a diagnosis? Can this be caused by STD? I did an urine test before for STD a few years back and it came back negative. Should I do another test?

I have the same issue. This is something my doctor told me, btw he himself coined the condition term. "I call it TUI, temporary urinary inflammation. What this means is of you drink liquids in a quantity that would cause you to urinate quickly and frequently then masturbate or have intercourse, the urethra that just experienced orgasm is hypersensitive. Since urine is naturally acidic, this acid causes a burning sensation of the urethra, and causes frequent urination, urinating small amounts, and bladder discomfort. Although the cause of this phenomenon is not documented, just about every male at one point or another will experience this in their life. As it is unwise to have unprotected sex, it is wise to go in for bi-yearly std screenings if you are sexually active. Although this is the main cause of std and urinary tract infection scares, doctors don't know how to treat it because by the time the patient visits, the problem has resolved and all tests come back negative."
