blood in the semen can aswel be caused by too much sex and or masturbation., so reduce on the sex-interval lads and spend more time in foreplay.

ok im 17 i have had no sex at all for i am a virgin but i try to masturbate at least once a week or at least once every other week

 i've spent the last hour and a half looking stuff on this topic  for me its no pain urinating  no pain for discharge no pain at all.  i just notice tonight that   the sperm i guess you could say is red fresh i guess if your were to  spred it around onto paper it might be  a slight pink.  but idk even no how this happened i might go ask my dad about it but i would like to know more before i do

Woke up this morning, got myself a bit of blood in my semen. :  VERY scary. no pain. After reading all these messages. I figure its from work, doing aeration's of lawns. Lots of psychical work, so im guessing thats it. Gona try later to see if theres more.  And i'm just wondering if it was ever alot of blood for anybody, or is it just a little amount. please reply.  I suffer from social anxiety. so theres nooo F***ing I'm telling anbody... And im 26 have had 5 sexual partners, now though have had sex for aprox. 2 years. I am also suffering from this. It is almost my two week mark. After 1.5 weeks, i went to the doctor and was prescribed Prostate Infection antibiotics. (CIPROFLOXACIN 500mg). Today, i still had an erection and it caused me to bleed again. Not sure how the medicine is working out. No sex or related activiies for 2 weeks. COuldn't help the hard on :( 

Urologist appt is scheduled 3 weeks out. 

Doctor also said not to worry and this is very common. As i guess it is since so many of us have it and there's no solution. "SUPPOSEDLY" it acts like a nosebleed and just wait for it to cure.

I was masturbating just now and when I ejaculated, it was all bright red.  Not a little blood in the semen but rather that it was all bright red as if I was full on bleeding.  I feel no pain but it really has me scared.  I urinated just now and it quickly turned clear.

Yo bro I'm 18 and my mom works at a doctors office called Nemours and she works in urology witch is the study of the male and female parts and I just talk to one of her doctors and he said it's nothing to worry about because at out age our prostate is growing at a fast rate he said it's vary normal to happen and u might have a little pain.but he all so said to look for swelling of the balls or redness If u see that then u most likely have an infection but it's nothing serious just Go to ur doc and they will give u some antibiotics that will help. But one thing he did say is to wear tight under wear to support ur balls like sliders or whitey tightes but yeah I was hella scared last night when I saw blood and when I looke at some other people post it scared me even more but I hope this answers ur question

That's a little better news reading all these I am very physically active more lately than ever in my life now and I'm assuming that's what it's from I'll have to get checked when I go back to base but puts me at ease a bit

Hey, male mid-40's, jus had the unfortunate incident of having blood in my semen when ejaculated.  Yep! scared the c**p outta me.  No pain,no where....but after reading your comments i definitely feel better.   I have been working out more, and maybe, jus maybe the tight underware has something to do wit it, lol, i dunno; but i will visit the doc to get a formal check-Up.  Thank u all for sharing your comments and putting my mind at ease a bit.  I'll pray and ask God for healing in Jesus' name....

Im 19 yrs old and yeah i just recently masturbated and saw a mix of blood in my semen and was totally freak out. I immediately searched about this and got here, your messages really did help me to relax a lil' bit.
for now I'll take a look into it again and see what happens (if it happens again i'll stop masturbating for atleast a month then check again) i'll post an update about this later. thanks for the informations, really helped out.
