Hello! My grandfather had problems with high blood pressure for years. Sometimes it is very high and sometimes is normal. It changes for no reason and his doctor says that this could be very dangerous. He gave him some medicines and aspirin too. Is it possible that aspirin causes this blood pressure fluctuation?

Hi! High blood pressure could be very dangerous and it should be treated very carefully. You haven’t mentioned which medicines your grandfather takes together with aspirin. The combination of medicines should be made very carefully. For example if he uses Cozaar for his high blood pressure then may need dosage adjustments or special tests during treatment with aspirin or any other NSAID. But, it is always the best to consult your doctor.
