Hi, I am in similar situation with the pH capsule and I am freaking out after reading this post. Can anyone follow up with how they are feeling now? Did it eventually fall off on its own and the pain subside? These horror stories are really scaring me!!!

doctors have recommended and misinformed many patients about presumably "safe" meds and products. I presently have discontinued a Bravo capsule test. After not even 12 hrs the device started having connectivity issues. I have vomited every meal I have ate up since deployment. I did NOT have this severe of issues before this "diagnostic" test. To me it seems more likely (at least from my experience so far) to get false positives if this is par for the course. Btw...before you start screaming "he is an attorney" I am an ASE Certfied Auto Tech.

he is not lying i had a bravo in april 2016 it did not leave my stomach after a month i went to the emergency room twice xray still there i had to threaten the doc to take it out he went back in and said it was gone i have had terrible pain i went back with lots of pain did a cat scan nothing so now i was to have a mri on my shoulder and happen to tell the nurse giving it to me and she said she was going to xray my stomach and low and behold it was still in there so much pain it is now feb.2017 now going to see a gastrologist now dont know what will happen it had moved down to my right side now i dont know what i am in for very scary

dont have one mine is still in after a year april 2016 so much pain back and forth to doc and cat scans nothing untill i was to have a mri on my shoulder than i told the nurse she xray my stomach and there it was now what will happen next i dont know it has moved down to my colon i am a little scared dont know what they will do next now it is jan 23, 2017

i also had this done in april in 2016 and it got stuck went to the er they took x ray it was still there so much pain so i demanded the doc to take it out in a month he did not know how to so he called the co. and finally went to retrieve it he said it was gone well now after jan.26 2017 and i went for a mri on my arm happen to tell the nurse about the bravo she took a x ray of my stomach and low and behold it is still in there so much pain now having time getting a doc. to get me a surgeon to get it out but how i dont know how i am a little worried i have heard bad stories about this. good luck with yours

yes it can come attached and move somewhere else i had mine done in april 2016 and my doc. left and went to fl. to stay so after the terrible pain i went through i had to go to the er blood pressure 200 they x ray me still there the other doc. seem mad because he had to take care of me after the other doc. left i had a time getting to see him that after a month i told him i wonted it out now he did make a appt. to go down and take it out than he said it was gone so i hurt for almost a year all kinds of problems sinuses and upper respiratory problems and now i was to have a mri on my shoulder jan 2017 and i dont know why i told the nurse i did have a bravo but it was gone she wanted a x ray of my stomach before the mri and guess what its still in there now hunting a doc to see if they can get it out how i dont know been sick and always very active but now sick and have a feeling of well being hope every thing comes out ok i am a little scared mary

Be a week since tomorrow will be a week since I had mine put in and I don't think it's gone anywhere and I also got afib which had been gone for 4 yrs. Coincidence?

hope you and your clients family can successfully sue the bravo cap manufacturer. i recently had one placed, my doctor never told me any of the possible bad side effects, she said it was safe.

I had this test done early April of this year (2017). Ever since then, my throat had been horse and my voice changes constantly. It's actually embarrassing. My throat never really clears and I now spit up mucus all the time. Is there anything I can do? It's been 9 months now and I'm afraid it's not going to get any better.
