I am a male 48 years old 6'0" 240 lbs with a history of acid reflux. I have a family history of heart attacks and diabetees. Could the severe pain on the right side of my abdomen under my rib be a gallbladder attack. I have been having pain on an off for about two weeks. I take nexium twice a day for acid reflux. I was only taking one pill a day but my heartburn was severe, to the point it would almost take my breath. The pain has just wore me out. I am scheduled to have the light ran down my throat to see if my esophagus (sp) is damaged or irritated. However, I must wait unitl I see my cardioligst for a heart cath. While checking me out for tightness in the chest , heartburn the doctor ran an EKG on me which was abnormal. He sent me to have a stress test and the stress test revealed that I had poor blood flow to my heart. Could this all be the same problem?

Thnaking you in advance for your input.
