I skipped my period by taking the pill because my bf is finally coming home after working overseas for months. We don't use condoms but he pulls out. Now I'm having dark brown spotting. Sometimes its abit heavy. I got worried so i stopped taking the pill. Everything was fine. I'll be seeing my bf again soon so I started taking the pill again this morning. A few hours later I got another brown discharge. What could be the cause of this? Am I ok? Im having lower back cramps also. Is it the pill? Am i about to have my period? im worried.

Did you start taking the sugar pills? Because if you did that could be trying to bring on your period? Although unlikely you can fall pregnant even while on the pill. See how you go you may need to call a Dr or pharmasist to see what is normal side affects of the particular pill you are taking.
