Hi im 15 and im really worried:/ about a couple of weeks before my period i took an overdose because of my depression but then a week before my period brownish stuff was on my pants and at first i thought this was normal because a couple of times ive had it a couple of days before the actual blood but ive hd this for three weeks now and im really worried:( sometimes it has like a vingary smell (only sometimes) and now ive been getting burning when i have a wee and stinging and sometimes itching:/ im really worried ive told my mum and she said it was just old blood and that my body has been going through alot lately due to the OD and the stress:/ is this something i should really be worried about? please help:(

Hey, I suggest you go to your doctor. The stinging and itching points to an infection of some sort, if your having brown discharge after your period then this is old blood. I had the Stinging and itching and it burnt when I peed and it turned out to be a urine infection. Also the itching may point to thrush. So I'd go to your doctor :-) hope this helps!

Hi, I do have the same issue but mines not a period that I have tho, when I'm so called supposed to be due my period it' will just be every now and then when I go too the toilet I notice the brown stringy discharge, not a lot of it just a little. Its never a normal period. I've had a baby 10months ago and did have a proper period after birth but this past few ones have been like weird???

Did it ever resolve itself for you? I just started getting Kenelog shots 2 months ago and my period has been coming way earlier now. And I just started getting the brown discharge on the 2nd one. Would of been nice of a heads up from the doctor.
