About a month ago I woke up with mosquito bite looking bumps all over my knees and elbows. It itched like crazy. I took some Benedryl and within half an hour it went away. For the next few days, whenever I woke up, the bumps were back. Some days were worse, some days not so bad. Well it stopped for a while, and then I would randomly get it again. Well the past few days have been bad. I would wake up and it wouldn't be there. But after about an hour of being awake, I would get them on my knees, all the way up my legs, sometimes on my butt. I dont have any Benedryl now, so it would stay most of the day, but be gone by the time I went to bed. I dont know if its an allergic reaction to something Im doing, or what. Does anyone have any advice?

I have the same thing on my elbows and knees for the last month. Like you it comes and goes and arrives in the morning. I see that you posted in Sept last year. Did you ever find out what it was? Or did it just clear up on its own?

Sounds like HIVES (also known as UTICARIA). It could be related to some allergin. Benedryl is the right solution. You may want to try to figure out what you are doing that is common to each time you break out with the hives. SOmetimes it is very hard to figure out what is causing them. Sometimes the condition disappears as suddenly as it started without ever finding out the cause. Good luck. Consult a physician if it persists or for more help.

I have the exact same thing! I get them only in the mornings and they tend to get better as the day goes on! But again I wake up and find new ones only on my elbows and knees. I went to the doctor because I thought it was hives. They told me it looked like mites. But after they gave me a painful shot of steriods and cream they just came back :-( So now I have no idea what to do? Has anyone found anything else?

My son gets them as they come and go in cold weather and warm weather. After a bath they seem to get better and most of the time only on areas that are not covered up. They started at my sister house in chicago over xmas but continued after we got back for over a month. we washed everything clean off toys but still come and go. Some days nothing other day just going out side will get. one day he has clothes on and will get on ears and face other days just diaper on and will get on legs and arms and not face or ears?? Then go a week with out. We have been on any meds or change foods???
