I have two bumps on the back of my head on the bones behind my ears. They're symmetrical, directly on the bone.

They started out as what I thought were "blind" pimples, and escalated to being a prominent, defined shape, about the size of a pea or smaller. I noticed I was getting neckaches/headaches around the time I found them. I've had them for a little under a week, but only today I noticed they were a defined shape.

My neck seems to be somewhat sore when I move/turn my head. Almost like I pulled a muscle.

I am not sure if this is the right place to be posting about this, but I can't seem to find answers on the internet that relate other than lymph-node related help.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. I am going to my University doctor tomorrow (walk-in appointment) and the dermatologist on Thursday (scheduled appointment), but I just want to know what to expect and what I could hear.

Current health status:

I am a 20 year old female, 5'4 120lbs, good overall health, I have a somewhat itchy scalp, I recently dyed my hair for the first time (last Sunday), my earring holes have become a little infected/irritated but I think that only happened in the past two days. I am taking medication for a harmless fungus I have on my stomach that is in a topical shower gel form and a pill form (took two pills last Sunday, two pills today and that's the full dosage). I have scoliosis with a 50~ degree c-curve. I went to the doctor this past Thursday and had blood taken to check for celiac disorder (it is in my family), as well as my calcium, and vitamin D levels. Test results should be back tomorrow.

Thanks.

I am now 50 and recently started having twitches to the back of my head up the side of my head, causing my ears to move. Is there any reason for concern?
