Loading...

C difficile is a bacteria in your intestines and is a “bad” bacteria. When it overpopulates inside your colon or intestine, you may get the illness called clostridium difficile colitis. When you have imbalance of bacteria and c-diff takes over, it creates two main types of toxins that affect your body. They attack your intestinal wall and if you don’t treat it, it can cause ulcerations. The symptoms are diarrhea and cramping at first and the next stages are weakness, dehydration, fever, nausea, vomiting..etc. and in advanced stages even blood in your stool.
Using antibiotics is usually the main trigger for developing this disease and ironically, the antibiotics also cure this illness. It can last for months to years, or it could be lasting whole your life, depends on how good you treat it.
