I suffer arthritis pain and use analgesics every day as my doctor prescribed me. I found very relieving for me when use camphophenic ointment. That was my friend’s suggestion and I am grateful for this innovation added to my therapy. Does anyone have similar experience? I am interested in other preparations based on camphophenic ointment.

As an 18 mnth old baby I contracted herpes from a hot spring. Every few months until I was about 10 years old I would break out on my hands (when I first contracted it , my sores showed up on back, scalp, nose, eyelids, under arms, any crevices and in ears in fact i suffered slight hearing loss due to this) Anyway, the only treatment they offered me in the 70's was calamine lotion which was pretty useless. But my parents heard about the camphophenic and we tried it. Instead of lasting weeks my outbreaks lasted a few days. :o Warning :!: it did sting but it was so definately worth it not to have to go through the insane pain of the regular itch. sometimes as i was very small i could not stand it and had to scratch which would bring relief for about 4 seconds but the pain after was almost unbearable. The sting from the medicine had no contest on the awfulness of what i went through before. I guess I still carry the virus but I am 35 now and have not had a break out since i was 10. I hope this helps someone out there. and ps don't have sex in a public hot spring pool!!! and don't take young children to one either. their immune system is not as strong as a older person!!!!!
