Hello, folks. My friend has experienced a hearing loss due to Meniere’s disease. I am interested if he can bring back the hearing that he lost. Can surgery do something here more? I would appreciate all your replies considering this. Your opinion will mean a lot to me. Thank you for answering. Bye, folks!

Hello, there. There is no real cure for Meniere’s disease that does not involve surgery. The actual cause of this disease is unknown. Some dietary and lifestyle changes are necessary. Diazepam is often recommended. There are several surgical techniques that are recommended for this disease. Vestibular neurectomy is the most efficient, I think. It can preserve hearing and cure vertigo. Other techniques are not so successful. I hope I’ve helped a little.
