Been on Trulicity for 6 months, 1.5mg dose every Saturday morning, the Sulphur burps happen every Sunday and diarrhoea Monday can unpleasant but it depends what you eat the previous day, bland food on a weekend helps the side effects no end. The loss of appetite has helped me regain control over my body, I average 1200 calories and have lost over 5 stone in 6 months. My diabetes is also under control too! I hope I continue to have such good results.

I just started this medication, literally one day ago, my Dr recommended this to regulate my A1C. I have read some of the reviews and I’m really optimistic. I’ve noticed loss of appetite but no other side effects and hope I don’t. Hope everyone has a good experience with this medication and continue a good healthy lifestyle.

Lost about 8 lbs in 10weeks on trulicity, 65 yo male. A little intestinal urgency the first time but no lasting effects. Appetite is decreased quite a bit, but even though I am very active my energy level is very good. Don't handle large meals or fatty foods very well. I fill up quickly and don't desire them much. It is an expensive drug, tier 3. Adjust your insurance. As for feeling sick at my stomach I have a little sometimes, eat a peppermint and get your mind off of it. Blood sugar is reduced by 20 to 30 points in the morning, much improved the rest of the day.

I started Trulicity a week ago. Im down 7lbs. Mainly, because you have to eat very little. If you overeat, that is where the nausea hits. If I eat very small meals, I feel like I have eaten a full Thanksgiving meal, but I do not get sick. It is causing the bowel changes mentioned. For that reason, I also had to add a stool softener to my diet. I actually think I will be pretty happy if this medication continues to help me.

Personally I believe that anyone who wants to use Trulicity and worries about losing weight or not enough is really on the wrong track.I am a type 2 diabetic and am on Trulicity. for 9 months. I didn't worry about the weight loss from Trulicity instead I worried about eating right and doing exercise. I lost weight and I don't want to give how much. Anyone worried about how much is looking for a qujck Fix, most who lose weight go on a diet for 3-4 months, then two days before they have a end date they plan to go get a large pizza with cheesy bread and on the way home stop at Ben and Jerrrys and in 3 weeks gain back what they lost. Then they blame the diet...really? so Trulicity isn't the true answer its changing how you eat.

In this post simply the people worried about how much weight loss from Trulicity is simply wanting to lose 50 lb in three days, and on the fourth day as they have in their hand a chocolate chip ice cream sandwich along with a family size bag of Cheetos that their munching on will complain that Trulicity isn't working to lose weight. and its a waste of money and ghey gained weight .Those worried about losing weight will never lose the wight due o they will simply blame Trulicity for gaining weight. Thus they will be too tired to go for a walk ,no time to go to a Gym. too tired to....laziness is the key. why do you think they never have from the TV Show THE BIGGEST LOSER a reunion?...yeah they gained it all back.

I just started Truclity this past week so far I had a little nausea and second day a bad headache I was on metaformin for over 17 years and started having some hikes in my liver enzymes so dr put me on Truity I noticed my sugar which ran around 110 to 180 area after eating now runs in 70 to 100 area yes I felt pretty yuky at first as my body was adjusting to lower blood sugars I have loss of appetite too but so far no major issues except lower blood sugars but will see how it goes my sister also on Truclity she having some abdominal issues and dropped a few pounds too but she just recently diagnosed type 2 so she still learning what not to eat and watch her carbs as I am a long term type 2 over 30 years diet controlled it until 2003 that’s when I went on metaformin I can say I like the ideal of not taking metaformin twice a day tho so hoping this works out for me

You are right. I work out and eat healthy and my readings are always over 250. I just want a medication that will lower my readings. I it helps to loss weight than that's just an added bonus.But my sugars come first.

Trulicity in a higher dose will allow for an average of 26 pounds. I know people that have experienced such. My doctor just wrote it for me, as I am having a hard time losing. It is the same type of drug as saxtenda and victosa. Both which are now weight loss drugs for general use. The general use for trulicity is for diabetes. But all are the same classification. As far as it making you sick to lose weight, all weight loss meds make people sick. This is what I have found when I looked into the differences, as my doctor confirmed all the above.
