C34-45-56-67 here and present! 2 rods one plate and 14 screws. My surgeries: 2, my pain was difficult to manage but the worst was the drugs. I am one year post op "no drugs" and I've got to express that I'm greatful and pretty much back to my old self : ) yes I do have limitations but it's irrelevant to What my condition and prognosis was if I hadn't have had my surgeries. I was in an accident and broke my neck had fusion of c 45/56 then I fell and re broke ubove and below. Caution to fusion patients post op: becarful as impact can affect your current fusion resulting in additional surgeries and more fusion. Over all.... I'm doing great and living life! Take good care of yourselves ❤️

Over a year now since cervical fusion 3-6 and laminectomy. Physical therapy helps but you can't go forever. Neck still sore, spasms. Shoulders and hands weak. Weird nerve sensations back of neck and below to mid scapula area. Have had pain meds but of course not fun to take, and the whole addiction thing makes docs nervous to prescribe. Just picked up a 5th different muscle relaxer today. Hoping it will help.
Being in almost constant pain after phys therapy, work or basic activities is exhausting.

Hi I am new here. My name is Patricia and I'm a 50yr old woman who has had my c5-7 fused twice and I have a screw that sticks out of my back neck. It hurts all the time. I have migraines all the time. I have went through a series of trigger point injections and botox. But I am always in pain and I have no life due to the pain I'm having.
I live with a friend and her family because my family disowned me because they refuse to believe I am disabled and can't work. My husband abused me thinking I could work when I couldn't. Told me I should still get unemployment when I can't work.
Now I'm getting divorced and am a loser because I don't have people to be here for me emotionally. I have been very abused in my 2 marriages. PTSD through the roof. I share a house with 7 people. I sleep in a 7yr old boys bed because I cannot take care of myself. I always say and feel like I wish I wasn't here. I cannot endure the pain any longer. I have tried multiple psychiatrists. None helpful so I am turning to you right now to see if someone out there can help me. I hate my life every day because theres always something wrong with me. I have multiple medical issues.

Hello Patrica-

I dont know if people read these anymore so i wont go into what im going through just yet.

But, losing family members or friends is not unusual-

I would spend all the time you can reasearching your surgery and other symptoms-

Mines a 40 year story so far and with modern technology I figured out whats going on with neck and brain--

ALWAYS get all your records and CDS with the images' they belong to you

Hello Mindscapes How are you doing now? I have a herniation at C6-C7, and might need to have surgery. Did you ever consider an artificial disc? Hope all is well EC
