Hello, amychris 13.

The side effects of chemotherapy is not too much terrible. Chemotherapy are used to get you rid of cancer cells, but drugs used by therapy also affect healthy cells. Some of side effects are : hair loss, dry skin, dry mouth, fragile fingernails, allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, anaemia, sleep problems, etc.

Good news is that large number of side effects is gone within 2 months after therapy, and other after some time.

Of course, there are other side effects, but they appeared only if therapy partially or not at all was successful.

But remember, the chemotherapy is the best way to beat cancer.

If you have any additional questions, I am at your disposal.

The most important effect of chemotherapy is that it kills cancer cells. However, chemotherapy can also affect normal cells that rapidly divide and grow, such as those in the bone marrow, digestive tract, skin, hair and reproductive organs. When normal cells are damaged, this can cause side effects.
