I would like to try out CBT for anxiety issues, but I am having trouble choosing a therapist. Psychologists offer this therapy, but are very expensive. I was wondering if counsellors or other therapists are also trained in CBT and what are the advantages of having one type of therapist over another?


Hi there, I saw a social worker who helped me with my issues using CBT, so I can tell you that not all psychologists offer the therapy and you can see other people who are versed in it who can help you. YOu sort of have to do a lot of shopping. What do you think?
