Hi, I need your help. I am 24 years old, got married 2 years ago and gave birth to a beautiful baby 3 months ago. Everything was like a dream, but it suddenly turned into nightmare. I realized that it is very hard for our little baby to eat and swallow. We did blood tests yesterday and we wait for the results now. I hope that everything will be ok, but I need to know something about this right now. Doctors mentioned congenital sympathy. What is that?

Congenital myopathy is a baby child syndrome. Child is hypotonic, which means that its muscles are not strong enough, and that tension that has to be always present in them is just not there. Therefore limbs are weak and look as if they are undeveloped. There are two forms: light, or benign, one that does not progress at all and dangerous one that develops in time. Let's just hope that in your baby's case, it's the first form.
