hi i was put on cerezette after getting bad migraines from microgynon. i have now been on it for 9 weeks and only had 7 days free from bleeding, brown discharge and cramps. i an 33 but also have the spots i had as a teenager, moody and no sex drive. i am definately going to come off it, i'd rather use condoms!

i have been on it for 4 months now, and i have been getting mood swings, and the last 4 weeks i have had constant heavy bleeding everyday. some times it is dark brown almost black. ive been to see the nurse and she said she didnt know, so ive had to wait another week to see the doctor. ive been going out my mind thinking what the problem could be, from complicated prgnany, which i dont want and other problems. this is the worst thing ever.

Im so glad i found this. ive only been on it a month, and recently has some of the dark brown dicharge, ever since its just got worse and worse, really heavy. its starting to freak me out! :-( is there anything to stop it? its sooo annoying! im starting to get it constantly and really heavily. im so worried :-(

SO glad ive read this! I either get fresh-blood only periods for a few days , or the rest of the time its just dark brown discharge! I def agree with the person who said its a gd contraceptive coz u dont have sex!! lol

hi, my cerezette story is even more twisted!. i started on it 3 years ago..and had no problems what so ever, little did i know that i was taking it wrong!. i was advised by my GP that i was to take a 7 day break at the end of each packet!.just by chance another doctor told me that that was wrong. i was not procted for three years!!.needless to say i was livid and made a complaint.
to think that i was never totally protected against pregnacy, i have no continued on the pill, and have just come to the end of a 2 week period. and now the brown discharge has started"!!...

right im 14 and been on this for 2 weeks. the first night i took it i threw up but then it was fine. now i keep getting brown thick mucas in my knickers. i want to come off but my bf dont like condoms. :L idk what to do really im too embarresed to tell ma mum though i might just come off it and use condoms its more hassle then its worth! :-)

Thank goodness for this, I have just discovered I am having a pinky-brown discharge with slight dark red (almost like 'dried') blood in it, no pain just this discharge, thought I must be really ill!

I've been on Cerazette for 9 months now. I had discharge 10 days after I started which lasted 5 days then it stopped for a week then It was back for another 5 days. After that I had nothing until 2 weeks ago when i had the same brown discharge but this time it was slightly more frequent and had dark brown "bits" in it?! This lasted 6 days then stopped for 7 days then yesterday it was back but this time it's light pink/yellow discharge. I felt really worried so decided to look it up online today and i came across this discussion. if it's still here in a few days i will see my doctor just for reassurance. Hope it's going well for all you ladies out there :)

I started using Cerazette two and a half weeks ago. I had my period on the first week which I was assured was normal, I then was off for half a week, before getting this annoying brown discharge. I'm seeing my partner on saturday and i havent seen him for two weeks. I could really do with not having periods or brown sh*t coming out of me. I am thinking about coming off this pill but am worried about how my body will react. Has anyone experienced the same as I?
