I have a constant burning sensation down below and feels kind of raw.. I need to urinate all the time but when I do the burning just gets worse. I went to the doctor and had a urine test but it showed that I had no infections. I am sexually active but always use protection and really don't think it's an STI. Seems to get worse when I don't drink as much water and when I'm nearing a period. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas.. has the same symptoms as cystitus but would this not have showed up in tests? Help please :-(:-(

Your doctor said that you have no infections, so I don't know if your doctor actually tested for cystitus. I would ask your doctor just to be sure that he did, and if he did, I can think of one other culprit. I know that when you engage in a lot of sexual activity that you can actually cause a burning sensation, and the best thing to do is stop for awhile. Have you had a lot of sexual activity recently?
