I am a 28 year old female. For the past 5 days, I've been experiencing extreme fatigue and dizziness. It started out with cold symptoms such as headache, congestion, sore throat, fever and runny nose and lack of energy. I took some cold medicine and 5 days later, most of the symptoms are gone but I'm still feeling weak and dizzy. I also discovered a rash on my chest yesterday, it doesn't itch. It's just there. I went to see my doctor today and they don't really know what it is. I had a strep test and that was negative. I'm really not sure what's going on. I've been taking multi-vitamins since I started getting sick and still no progress. I'm usually up around 8 am with lots of energy and now I have to force myself out of bed. If I'm doing something, I need to sit or lye down because I feel dizzy. I'm not allergic to anything. I was pretty much healthy before this. I don't smoke. Please help. Thank you.

Hi Honey! I THINK you might be showing signs of Lupus OR a Thyroid Condition! I would like you to Google the Symtpoms of both! And see what matches you more, then ask your doctor for the appropriate tests! How is your hair?

I also forgot to mention that my mouth has been really dry, no matter how much water I drink. Thank you for your response Bambi27. I looked at the symptoms for both. For Lupus the only symptoms I currently have is the extreme fatigue, I don't have chest pain but I do have a rash on my chest. My hair is fine. I no longer have a fever. For the Thyroid, the only symptom I'm experiencing is the fatigue.

I'm starting to think that I could be dehydrated, but I'm not sure. I have a lot of the symptoms (I tried doing the skin test and the skin fell right into place, so that's a good thing).

At some pharmacies they can do glucose tests, I am wondering - with your thirst - if you are starting signs of diabetes!! This might explain the lethargy too! NOT the rash - that is a long the lines of lupus, but it's a simple test to do! Also the reason why I was asking ab0out your hair is this can be the first sign of something wrong with your thyroid! The more I read your symptoms the more I'm leaning towards low glucose levels!

Thank you Bambi27. I'll definitely look into the glucose test.
