So I've been dealing with the same thing for over a year, but only recently got medical insurance so I could get it checked out. My doctor seems sure it's just that my body doesn't produce progesterone as it should and that a BC pill would regulate it, but she's having me tested for a million and one things first. Ultrasounds, blood tests, biopsies, you name it! And now thanks to all this nonsense, I now have Iron Deficiency Anemia... Luckily my fiance has been very understanding and supportive... I'm only 20 and don't want this to have too big of an impact on my future, especially conception... any advice?

I am amazed at how many women are going through this. Have any of you tried any kind of herbs or tinctures???
I am 39 years old and went for 9 months with no period, which was awesome! Then I started bleeding, I thought at first it was a regular period. But it didn't stop, I bled for almost 7 weeks straight. Well 2 emergency room visits later (this at 3 weeks and again at 5 weeks) and nothing. I was checked for everything and sent home with you are just at that age and you are mena whatever....blah blah blah.
So they sent me home with bc pills. Which I did not take. Instead I went to the local health food stores and started taking what seemed like everything but I was desperate.
Anyway I stopped bleeding at 7 weeks and didn't start again for about 6 months.
I started bleeding again . This time it lasted for 2 weeks and then I got a break for about 3 weeks and now I am bleeding again.
Please check online or with your local health food stores for herbs and such that may help or stop this so you can have a life again.....

Yes this SUCKS the big one!!!!

Hi there, im 27 and have been constantly bleeding for nearly 4months now, and im so sick n tired of popping all these dam pills, have been on estrogen only tablets and progesterone tablets, and have had a d&c and a hystercopy at the same time and also have had scans done as they first thought i had pcos (polycystic ovary syndrome) test's came back negative for that but still have all the symptoms there, and i had a internal done before my d&c and came back with a high estrogen level which is like pre cancer cells, so thats why they did the d&c and a hystercopy and then 2 weeks later still bleeding non stop and the gyne specialist cant figure out what is going on as my test results came back from the op negative, this is driving me nuts and absolutely insane to say the least cant have a normal live as this over rules it though and though, was going to the gym to lose the weight like they say to do but cant as im constantly changing tampons every 15-20mins, so they have me now on two lots of pills take one lot 4x a day and the other 3x a day with food. so to most of you who are suffering the same kind of ordeal i know exactly how your feeling, and just remember dont suffer in silence keep on at your gp's or specialists

I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. I had a period when I was 14 for a whole year but was too bashful to go to the OB about it. But finally it got painful so I went. They diagnosed me with PCOS and put me on B/C pills. This stopped the periods for a while then they started to breakthrough. So I would go 2 years no AF then have it for months.....What to do?

I am now on regular cycles and it is because I take Progesterone cream. Lack of progesterone is the reason for the constant bleeding. The estrogen keeps the lining building and the Progesterone keeps it built. Then when a PG doesn't happen the progesterone drops off and the period is triggered. So if you never have the progesterone to to balance the estrogen, the estrogen will keep producing the lining to be shed daily.

Go and get yourself some progesterone cream from the healthfood store. MAke sure it has USP (medical grade) Progesterone in it. Use it 2 pumps daily until the bleeding stops then use 1 pump daily. Use for a total of 28 days. After the 28 days, stop for 14. Start on day 15 and continue until day 28. Only use during days 15 -28 in your cycle if you are TTC. It not then you can use it from day 7-28. This is the natural form of B/C.

If you have any questions email me. I hope this helps you like it has me. Also read Dr. Lee's book: 'What your doctor won't tell you about menopause'

I'm 31 and have been suffering from mild spotting mid cycle to large blood clots since I was 16. It was always around the time I should be ovulating about 7 days after my period. After running or having sex it was always worse. I found no help from my friends or OBGYM.

About a year ago I decided to start researching on my own and found plenty of people suffering from similar symptoms. One theme that kept coming up was the access amount of estrogen we consume daily because it is in everything! All plastics create a sythetic like estrogen in your body and everything made in a box with some kind of soy protein has it that means cereal, wheat thins, chips, all the noodles that come in a box, etc. I understand the need for birthcontrol pills but that is just another estrogen you are putting in your body. Try condoms for a while or the pull out method if your guy can handle it. If he loves you he will. After experimenting with your body you can see if your body can handle estrogen from the pill or not.

The first thing I started doing was change my diet. I have also stopped drinking sodas only tea and fresh squeezed juices. Stopped eating anything that comes from a box, only eat eggs from free range, organic hens, RAW milk, if you can find it. If you can't find raw milk STOP drinking milk period and try carrot juice instead for your calcium, you can get it at any juice place, make sure it is fresh squeezed. Yogurt is fine but try to get the ones without sugar or high frutctose corn syrup. Keifer is the best or a greek yogurt would be good. One of the most important things that I think has helped the most is Black Strap Molasses.

Go to Whole Foods or a health food store and buy Black Strap Molasses (must be blackstrap) organic if possible. Then take 2 tablespoons everyday. morning or evening or both. However you can,I put mine in my yogurt in the morning, in my coffe or in hot chocolate . It is completely natural and loaded with vitamins and minerals. I've ready many articles on women curing themselves of uterine fibroids with this product alone. Most of the peole I've seen on this post are young and the doctors don't look for fibroids when your young.

I believe my problem was something like a fibroid from what I've read of other peoples symptoms. I've been taking the blackstrap for about 3 months and have had no spotting at all. I plan on continuing to take it for the rest of my life, because apparently my body was missing something this gives. Good luck and I hope and pray this works for you too.

I go through the same thing. I didnt think there were this many women who has the same problem as me. I would bleed for months until i went to the doc. He prescribed me a birth control pill called Femcon it really works and regulates your period. If you dont take them everyday like you suppose to you wont see a period. My problem was i wouldnt see a period for months at a time, than I wouldnt have a period for months at a time. Im only 22 and me and my boyfriend is trying to have a baby and I really dont see that happening because of my irregular periods. The doc says I have to get my period regular if i want to have any kids, but birth control stops me from having kids. What should i do?

I too have bee bleeding for 3 months, with one week of Not bleeding, Doc gave me birth control pills which did not work. He then ordered a vaginal ultrasound to see what is going on.Well my internal ultrasound showed I have multiple fibroids the size of marbles. Doctor has to do a D&C to scrape away the tissues and of course test them. I will also have an Endometrial Ablation which will put my periods back to normal to not having periods at all. Good Luck!

Dear Guest,

Don't wait too long to see a doctor even iff you have to go to the er. That's what I did. I waited 3 months when I decided to go. I neede a blood transfusion because my hemoglobin count was at a critical level. I did not know I was anemic.

i've been bleeding for about 3 months now, this is the second time i've had this problem.las year i went to docs after several months of bleeding.i was told i have cervical erosion they took several smear test swabs and after 3 month all the results came back clear but i was still bleeding.so the docs decided to freeze my cervix.after that i bleed for a few weeks then just my usual periods.thought it was all sorted ..then i started to bleed again and it seems worse now than befor,i'm getting alot of pain and feel so tired all the time ..i've been docs again and they took more swabs and said my cervix is very swollen and bruised, but could not tell me why.. so i'm back in hospital again in may,for more scans xrays tests.. but they have warned me that this could be a life long problem with no fix..
