I am a type II diabetic and my doctor prescribed Cozaar. I am taking Cozaar for a year now and it helped reduce hypertension in conjunction with Verapamil 240mg. Cozaar is expensive and I had to drop it a month ago when I lost health coverage. I decided to use supply of Hytrin and my blood pressure went up. I now have headaches and I have to buy Cozaar again. I think I have to get a good diabetes doctor who will aggressively control my hypertension and blood sugar.

After reading an article on Cozaar and diabetes how it was given trials on people with diabetes, I asked my specialist about it. He has put me on a 3 months trial. It will help me, as he said to avoid liver and kidney failure. Since I have been on Cosaar and have experienced only a weight gain. I am going on a diet soon.
