I have been taking Cozaar25mg for about a year. My diabetic doctor advised it may reduce pressure on my kidneys/liver and therefore prevent problems later. However, I don't have a home BP machine, when I checked it appears my BP is a bit elevated. I never had any problem with BP before. I am not sure if it is age, related, diabetes related or with Cozaar. I wonder if anyone has side effects from Cozaar.

I am taking cozaar 50mg for the past 2 months. I was taking another blood pressure medicine before cozaar and experiencing a dry cough. Now I am on cozaar I am still experiencing a dry cough, with no reduction in symptoms. SO, I am not sure if cozaar is responsible for cough. I know that some people experienced weight gain from cozaar.
