Hi. I am a 21 year old female and I come here with some questions related to low blood sugar.
I was told when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old that I had low blood sugar and should make sure to always eat inbetween meals (like fruit for example because fruit sugar) and bring that with me to school so that I wouldn't get dizzy or something.
This came back to mind for me now because I haven't been feeling well lately and I haven't as far as I know had my blood sugar levels tested since then and I wonder if it could be related.
I've always been very hungry all the time and I eat a lot but i'm still skinny. I get dizzy and lightheaded for no reason, I have headaches and sinus headaches several days a week, my vision sometimes blurs a little (but in general my eyesight is great), my heartrate speeds up or my heart skips several beats and I very easily get anxious, i'm bad at concentrating, i'm always pale even in the summer, i've had unexplained tingling in my skin on and off (that doctors have just said is probably nerves) and i've fainted in the past.
Lately (like last few days) my hunger has gone away which is unsual for me and i've been very thirsty instead and peed a lot and I think I have also been warmer because I usually freeze very easily but lately people have been complaining about it being cold and I have been sweating or not been cold at all (I am not sick and do not have a fever).
Do you think I should bring this up with a doctor?
