I'm about 14 weeks preggo and for the past couple of weeks i've been haveing alot of cramping, along with lower back pain and some pressure. I haven't gone to the doc. cuz it all seems pretty normal and i've had no bleeding. i've also felt emotionaly distent from the pregnancy,like i'm not pregnant. I'm nervous because i did have a miscarriage at 21 weeks with no symptoms except feeling disconected like i do now.Anyway, last night i went to the bathroom to finaly go number 2 and when i wiped(sorry i know it's gross) this weird green mucus stuff came out of me. I remember the same thing happened to me with my other pregnancy also. I called ob and the nurse didn't know how far along i was and told me it was my mucus plug. When i told her how far along i was, she didn't know what to say, I wasn't far enough along to go up so i had to go to my doc. who told me everything was fine. I have an app. with my obgyn on thur. but was wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else, and if so what was the outcome?
I should metion, I did have a full term pregnancy after my miscarriage and do not remember this mucus.

i would LOVE to know what school that nurse goes to! BUT I have NEVER heard of a GREEN MUCUSY Mucus Plug!!!! Holy Cow! As soon as I read this I can tell you that you ahve an infection! I is more than likely a bladder or uti infection and it sounds like a bad one! This will go along with cramping and lower back pain! I KNOW that you are connecting the dots here, because you went through this before! And I will tell you that women whom are having miscarriages do NOT feel disconnected from their babies! This is your brain defending you! You DAREN'T invest in this baby "Just In Case!" I TOTALLY TOTALLY get that honey, but you have to realize that this is your brain reacting this way, not your body! You will need to go on some antibiotics, ask you doctor for a urine culture test! I had blood poisioning when I was pregnant with my 2nd child and had the EXACT same symtpoms as you do, so I understand!
Do you feel hot or BLAH!!!? I would get checked out by your doctor before you see your OBGYN! I REALLY want you to be seen by your doctor for this infection ASAP!!! As infections can lead to miscarriages ESPECIALLY Vaginiosis - which this might be too!!! so please get treated! good luck and health and please let me know how you make out!
