I have been using codeine and hydrocodone on and off for a little over two years but lately its been about once or twice a week around 30 mgs. The last few times I noticed the next day I felt depressed, had a runny nose, felt a bit achy, had felt a bit uneasy in the stomach area and loose stools. I didnt think much of this until it happened the last several times. I just figured perhaps i was coming down with something and just feeling a bit under the weather until a good friend, an ex addict told me that it sounded like mild withdrawl symptoms. Could this happen even though I only take this once or twice a week? thanks

Yes, withdrawal symptoms are a lot like the symptoms of the flu. Your body is telling you that it has gotten used to the amount and in order to stay happy it wants more opiate. If you want to quit best of luck to you, you would definitely be classified as an "addict" but you are in a lot better shape than most people. Take advantage of that.

good luck
