I just read in a medical journal that some doctors are prescribing accutane for crohn's disease symptoms. I find this a bit strange, and I thought that accutane is a drug that is normally used to treat acne? Prednisone is normally given for crohn's disease, I thought. Does anyone know about this being prescribed, and would you care to elaborate why?
