As many of the posts on this page will tell you, it could just be an infection or old blood. Since you used a condom, and you think that he didn't ejaculate inside of you, you most likely aren't pregnant. But honestly, if you're not ready to accept the possiblity of pregnancy resulting from sex, maybe you shouldn't be having it. Biologically, thats what sex is meant for. If its freaking you out this much, maybe stop having sex, give it a few years, and see what you think then, I'm almost certain you'll be glad you did.

Ok..Uhm. I dont have the brown discharge, but I do have blood. Im currently 11 days into my alesse pills, I missed my pill on the second Monday because on the Sunday I went to my boyfriends house, and i had forgotten the pack of pills at home, and I slept over 2 nights. So on the Tuesday night that I returned home I took 2 pills(One for Monday, and the Tuesday pill) ((I hope this isnt confusing)).
On the Monday night my boyfriend and I had sex(no condom), and afterwards I had some spotting. I didnt worry about it because I thought it was normal to have spotting sometimes after sex.
Well today (Thursday) I got alot of blood like I was on my period. My boyfriend suggested maybe i got pregnant, and now my pill just killed it, or i dont know.......if its not too confusing please please help me.

Ok, I'm 19 and I've been on the pill for about 5 years now. Don't worry, I get that occasionally too. You have to watch the times of the month that you get the dark discharge. If it's when your peroid should be, it's most likely just what me doctor called "dead blood". It always happens to me before I start my heavy bleeding. Sometimes it can even happen when it's not your time of the month. You could just be spotting. Dead blood often smells foul, but it's a difficult smell to describe.
But as with everything, err on the side of caution. ALWAYS check with your doctor about things in that area and get to know your body and how your body acts. I've learned dead blood is normal to me, but it might not be dead blood for you. Get a PAP smear and full series of swabs just to rule out everything. Also make sure to get regular PAP smears.

I had the preganacy jab (depo verra) and i currently finished it in march after that i had a period which lasted for about 2 and a half months non-stop and then i had about 2 in which i was regular but then in june i stopped getting my period alltogether. Lately ive started getting Dark brown stuff and some thats sorta like snot. im getting really worried cause im 15 and my parents dont know im sexually active and whatever so i cantt ask them. anyone have any advice??

Around May of this year (2010) was the last time I got a real period (when I mean this, I mean a normal flow, red, etc.) Since then I haven't really had it except for some dark brown discharge once a month and it's the end of August. I'm pretty worried that maybe it could be some serious bacterial infection of some sort that's just worsening. I took 3 pregnancy tests over the course of the last 3 months to be positively sure that I'm not pregnant and they all came out negative. I'm not really sure what's going on with my body, but it seems to be a common thing.
I went to my gyno for the first time last month and asked her about it but she kind of brushed it off and didn't really address it, which is weird. I know it's not an std because I'm my partners first and only and I've been tested. It's just really strange...

I am 20 something, have had 1 child. Last month I got tested for any & everything and started birth control for the first time. All of my lab work came back negative & Im healthy but since I started my birth control( I started the first day of my period like my obgyn instructed) my period lasted 3 days longer than it usually does and then when thats done 2 days later Im getting a brown discharge. Is this related to the birth control pill?

It started out light ish red.its been going on for bout 4 days now and bout a week ago me and my boyfriend had sex but we used a condom. I am kinda worried because in my case it could be anything It could be a bacteria infection, old period shadings or I could be pregnant. After reading your guys post I'm very curious what is going on. Your guys post helped out a lot. I go to my doctor tomorrow and ill let him know what's going on that's the best way to get your guys answer is just go to your doctor they are the ones that will know what's really going on

Im 19 years old my boyfriend is 27 we just recently started having sex. I have been on the pill for almost three months now im one week short i take seasonique. so my period doesnt come every month. We just recently had sex twice in one day but he did not cum inside me not even alittle but its been about six days and i have some discharge though i had this problem with these pills before im really conserned that it is implantation bleeding its almost like a dried blood but again ive had this before with this pill, i feel naseous all the time and i am having a few headaches and alittle bit of stomach pain but i thought i was pregnant before but it turned out im just scaring myself into symptoms. What do you guys think pregnant or just scaring myself i need to know asap
