When I went in to be induced to have my daughter, the doctor drew blood and found my potassium was low ((I believe it was 2.1)). Everything was put on hold as they tried to raise it as quickly as possible. They put me on an IV drip, then tried suppliments, four days later it finally hit 3.3 and they immediatly brought me back to be induced. This is where things went wrong, my baby went into feal distress, and I needed a c-section. After she was born the doctor said my uterous wouldn't contract any, they tried five drugs, still nothing, so they opted to do the hysterectemy.

Is there a link here between potassium ((which I know causes muscles to contract)) and my hemorrage? Should the doctors have transfered me when it didn't raise right? It was just a tiny hospital in a small town...
