Our kid has been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and I admit that I haven’t heard of this condition before. Do you know what this illness is? Doctor said that this is nothing serious because there is no nose deviation and that it is only a mild form. I really hope that my kid will start breathing normally in his sleep.

Well, apnea is something that might look not that pleasant to someone who watches from aside, especially if that someone is a parent. Apnea is basically the irregular breathing pattern in the sleep (when the consciousness is inactive) and when the carbon dioxide accumulates, the regular pattern returns. The cause of it is not accurately established so far.
